Bill & Cheryl DeYoung

Bill & Cheryl DeYoung met while attending Anderson University in Anderson, IN and married in 1991. They were named pastors of Oaklawn Church of God in 2022. They equally share pastoring responsibilities. Pastor Cheryl was ordained in 2003. Her ministry journey started in youth ministry, but her passion is teaching and leading others to worship. Pastor Bill grew up in Benton, AR. After a career in Information Technology, he was ordained in 2023. He considers himself a storyteller and loves building relationships with others.

Wally & Keely Beck
Care Pastors

As Care Pastors, Wally and Keely serve the church by visiting those in the hospital or unable to leave their homes. They find unique ways to encourage and support our body, including teaching classes and leading prayer groups. Wally and Keely have a history in ministry, especially evangelistic ministry. In 2013, Wally was ordained by the World Evangelism Fellowship. He and Keely have preached at revivals and churches from Louisiana to Pennsylvania. Can it be said that a family that works together stays together? That is true for the Becks. Wally and Keely met as Wal-Mart managers. After 26 years with Wal-Mart, Wally “retired”. Keely continues to manage for one of our local Wal-Marts, and now both of their children, Lucretia and Cody, also work for Wal-Mart.

Zack DeYoung
Associate Pastor

Zack DeYoung serves as an Associate Pastor for Oaklawn Church of God, with an emphasis on Young Adult ministry. Zack was credentialed into ministry by the Church of God in Arkansas in 2020. He previously was on staff at Community Park Church of God in Bryant, AR. Zack works full time as a salesman for Ashley Furniture in Bryant, AR.

Nathan Malone
Visual & Social Ministry

Nathan met his now wife, Ashley, at MBSF in 2014 while attending Ouachita Baptist University. Nathan finds himself serving in whatever capacity the church needs at that time, but has a particular knack for meeting any technical needs that the church may have, leveraging his experience as a Software Engineer. You will often find Nathan running the AV booth in the back of the church on any given Sunday. Ashley has built a career as a Captain for a commercial airline and is always one of the first smiling faces you'll see as you walk into our doors.
