Thinking about visiting us? Amen! In that case, we want to give you a run down of what you can expect when you join us during one of our services.
At Oaklawn Church of God, we believe that a church should strive to make all visitors feel as welcome as possible when they step through our doors. To that end, let us start by saying that "church clothes" are just whatever clothes you are wearing when you come to church. We have members who prefer to wear collars and dress pants, and we have members who are more comfortable wearing t-shirts and shorts. Both are welcome in our family of believers!
Our church is located up the grassy hillside just across from Hot Springs High School. Once you turn from Emory St. onto 7th St., we are the first drive on your left. That drive will take you straight into our parking lot, and our entrance will be on your left as you drive in. Park anywhere you can find a spot and come on in!
When you walk into our doors, you'll meet our greeters, who will be more than happy to show you how to find the sanctuary, Sunday school classrooms, children's ministries, and restrooms, but only after they shake your hand, of course! Additionally, if you have questions about the church or services, our greeters will be glad to answer your questions or direct you to someone who can.
Be sure to hang around after service! We want to make sure we have an opportunity to talk to you and answer any other questions you might have.
