Such a good message. God has really been pressing upon my heart lately to make it known to people that I want them at my church. Of course, that includes making sure that guests feel welcomed at our church and being conscious to the fact that guests don’t share the same experience that I do as a member on Sunday, but it also includes what Bill was speaking about: consistency throughout the week. I missed a blatant opportunity to share the Gospel with someone this week or at least invite them to my church, and God has had me under conviction about it since. He really is pressing upon me that carrying a welcoming spirit is extremely important inside the church walls, but is perhaps even more important outside of them.
